TGBK_Vol2

The second volume of Teargarden by Kaleidyscope was released on November 23rd, 2010… just under 6 months after the first volume. The release contained The Fellowship, Freak (or Freak U.S.A. as it appears on the CD sleeve), Tom Tom, Spangled and exclusively on vinyl, Cottonwood Symphony.

Volume 2 was named The Solstice Bare, a reference to the lyrics in the song “Tom Tom”.

The EP, like its predecessor, contained no official credits.

In speaking with Faster and Louder about “The Fellowship ” Billy Corgan said “I’m really excited about that because we’re starting to find what’s the future sound of the band. Which is sort of like classic Pumpkins big choruses and maybe using more electronics, but in a sparse, almost 80s, way, so I’m really liking that.”
