Live Essentials: Glastonbury Festival 06/27/1997

The Glastonbury Festival took place in Pilton, UK from Friday, June 27 – Sunday, June 29, 1997. The festival featured many big acts in addition to the Pumpkins—including Radiohead, Daft Punk, Beck, and The Prodigy—but perhaps the most remembered was the mud. Torrential rain before and during the festive helped 1997 be remembered as “The Year of the Mud.”

Some stand-out performances from this set include a punchy version of Transformer, a harder version of The End Is The Beginning Is The End, and an alternate arrangement of Porcelina of the Vast Oceans.
